This three-day course introduces managers and practitioners, appraisal team members, and process improvement teams to CMMI fundamental concepts. The CMMI for Development (CMMI-DEV) model is a tool that helps organizations to improve their ability to develop and maintain quality products and services.

Introduction to the CMMI-SVC

This three-day course is the definitive introductory course about the CMMI for Services (CMMI-SVC) model. The course provides the knowledge you need to take your first steps with CMMI-SVC and is a prerequisite for any certification or subsequent course that calls for an Introduction to CMMI requirement. CMMI-SVC is a comprehensive set of guidelines that helps organizations to establish and improve processes for delivering service.

Acquisition Supplement for CMMI-DEV

This one-day course introduces acquisition managers and practitioners, appraisal team members, and process group (e.g., SEPG, EPG) members to CMMI fundamental concepts related to acquisition. CMMI for Acquisition (CMMI-ACQ) is a CMMI model designed for use in managing a supply chain by those who acquire, procure, or otherwise select and purchase products and services for business purposes.

This one-day course introduces you to the CMMI for Development (CMMI-DEV) model, which describes effective practices for developing quality products for customers and end users.

Services Supplement for CMMI-DEV

This one-day course introduces service providers, appraisal team members, and process group members to CMMI fundamental concepts related to service delivery. The CMMI for Services (CMMI-SVC) model defines effective practices that ensure quality services are delivered to customers and end users. Some types of services that would benefit from using CMMI-SVC include operations, logistics, maintenance, IT, and many other services in government and industry.

SCAMPI Appraisal Team Training

This two-three day course trains appraisal team members on the SCAMPI A Appraisal Method including appraisal preparation, data review and analysis, affirmations, practice characterizations, crafting findings, assigning appraisal ratings, and reporting the appraisal results.

Appraising High Maturity Organizations

This one-day workshop helps appraisal team members understand the expected behaviors of a High Maturity organization and how to appropriately appraise an organization's processes and procedures from a High Maturity perspective.

CMMI Executive Overview

This half-day overview introduces executive management to process improvement, its fundamental concepts, benefits, and appraisals. The overview is a combination of lecture and opportunities for questions and discussion. After attending the overview, participants will be able to describe the benefits other companies have achieved through process improvement.

Introduction to High Maturity Workshop

This one-day workshop trains the organization on the high maturity expectations for Process Areas OPP, QPM, OPM, and CAR and compares a uniformed approach to a superior approach. After attending the workshop, participants will be able to understand the expectations for achieving high maturity and the necessary evidence that must be provided in an appraisal.

Requirements Management Overview

This half-day overview examines key requirements management issues and activities involved in documenting and managing changes including: reviewing requirements, managing baselines, controlling changes to requirements, updating plans, and documenting requirements.

This three-day workshop helps students learn effective methods for conducting, analyzing, and reporting the results of work product and process audits. Classroom discussions and exercises cover alternative ways to organize the efforts for Process and Product Quality Assurance (PPQA), the key activities that need to be accomplished, and the processes that are needed.

Leading and Managing Productive Reviews and Inspections

This two-day workshop helps students learn how to review and examine work products built by a team. The workshop presents various types of work product reviews (technical reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections), along with criteria for selecting the appropriate review type.

This three-day facilitated workshop helps students master verification and validation concepts. The workshop presents different testing strategies, test phases, and test plans, along with criteria for selecting appropriate tools and methods.
